The book left me: Not as spooked as I wanted

Final ranking and star rating?
3 stars, C tier. This was an odd collection. I expected more poems, but I got a few stories too. It had some nice illustrations, love that. It wasn't scary, poems usually aren't, more uncanny or "campfire story" kind of spooky.
I think I expected something different from this. Not sure what exactly ...
