Not going to lie the cover is horrible. I saw a tik tok video where someone reviews books with bad covers to find gems and I think this is a good one. It was a fun quick read that I really enjoyed.
It kind of reminded me of the Dresden Files but without the sad magician as the main character. Kate also has her flaws but she is snarky and not as sad as Harry.
