This book exceeded my expectations!! It has been sitting on my shelf for 8 months and I am mad at myself for not picking it up sooner!! It made my top 10 list and I can not wait to start Legendary! 

This book reminded me a lot of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I was worried that they would be too similar and I wouldn’t like Caraval, but I was wrong. They were similar in the way of the magic and setting, but the characters and story line were different. Everything I loved about the environment of The Night Circus was in this book but with a different plot and many twists! 

Highly recommend!
