I’ve heard plenty of great things about this book from many people so I’m a little disappointed it didn’t hit me the way it did for those others. The prose is very intricate and abstract which made it a bit hard to digest sometimes, but the plot itself I thought was interesting and not very difficult to follow along. I was a bit moved by the last few pages, seeing how intricately a part of each other Red and Blue were. I thought that was lovely and romantic.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Grief, Stalking, Fire/Fire injury, War, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Animal death, Blood
Minor: Confinement, Suicide, Torture
