I truly have no words. Somehow this book managed to be more heartbreaking and yet more beautiful than the first book. It was such a journey that had me smiling, laughing, and crying multiple times. While I’m deeply upset about some parts of this book, I truly think that this was the most perfect and beautiful ending to Iris and Roman’s story.

Some of the things I really loved about this book was the new couples introduced as well as reuniting with familiar faces. I also loved that there was much more magic in this book than the first. I also think that this book did a lot better job with explanations and world building. But most especially, I loved the rediscovered love trope in this. It was so touching and proved that truly nothing (even a god or a war) could come between soulmates.

Honestly I don’t have any critiques for this book. I loved it so much, maybe even more than the first. I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy.

I 100% recommend this series to any romance or fantasy lover. It’s so inspiring and gorgeously and emotionally written. I can’t wait to read more books by Rebecca Ross in the future and reread these soon.
