Amina's Voice by Hena Khan
4.0
It's a heartwarming middle-grade novel about a Pakistani-American girl named Amina.
The plot started off as Amina trying to overcome her fear of public speaking but it gets more complicated later on as it branches out into other themes.
I didn't grow up in the USA but I could still relate to so many things. Amina's feelings, thoughts and worries seemed to resemble my own and it was really nice to read about it in a book.
The whole theme and setting of the story was well done and I liked how it unfolded but the plot was a bit uneven. I wish it had more consistency but it was still a great read!
