this book was so crazy omg!! i've been wanting to watch the movie for like a million years now, but i wanted to read the book first and now i've done it! i know amy is literally crazy and has killed a man and lied for no reason but holy shit i literally love her. i was so close to feeling for nick but him being a cheater AND THEN WANTING A BABY WHILE STILL CHEATING?!?!? i just couldn't side for him anymore
amy - "my gosh, nick, why are you so wonderful to me?"
nick - "because i feel sorry for you"
amy - "why?"
nick - " because every morning you have to wake up and be you"
that's literally insane and i think that quote somewhat encompasses their entire relationship throughout the novel (except in the end the roles were reversed instead of amy feeling sorry for nick, it's nick feeling for amy)
