What do I say about this book? First of all it’s nothing like HA, so I don’t feel like anyone should be comparing them to each other - they are their own entity!
With that THIS FUXKINNG BOOK HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD since I started it ! Literally it has been in my thoughts since I started it. I ENJOYED EVERY SECOND OF READING IT!
It is dark, fuxked up in the most delicious way! Let me also state I have NO TRIGGERS! So, if you do check the triggers and content warnings.
With that said I really don’t want to give much of the plot … I’ll say the story follows BRIONY who has dedicated her whole life to the church and worked to be the first female Magnus Princeps, in line for the Bishop title… unfortunately in a world run by men they will see to it that it doesn’t happen. Enters AERO who, well shit, what do I say about him. Completely unhinged, sexy as fuxxk and set to make sure BRIONY learns the truth on her own at the same time letting her shine and grow and become the fierce badass woman she was always meant to be
