The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow

5.0

obsessed with alix e. harrow. I read the once and future witches a month ago and haven't stopped thinking about it, although in some ways this book feels more fast paced and driven than that one. they're both works of ART, and I could not put either of them down. the descriptions of feelings and things and thoughts are just so beautiful and so perfectly spelled out in ingenious and new ways. and the story is so interesting and relevant and I'm so happy that fantasy like this exists, which acknowledges and allows all people to see themselves in the characters.
