Historical fantasy romance isn't normally my jam, but I had so much fun reading this and truly cannot wait to read more by Marske.
I had no idea where this book was going to go and honestly did not see some of the twists coming. I wish it had been longer, as I would have liked to see more parts explored with the magic and the mystery. But I still had such a great time reading this book. It was just so fun and easy to read.
I was surprised to see some spicy scenes in it as I really wasn't expecting there to be any.
I'm very much intrigued in continuing this series and seeing how the rest of the story plays out.
