This book was a wonderful surprise! I went in blind, and the first part of this book made me think it was headed in a certain direction and then… plot twist! If you’re into shifter/fated mates/why choose and want something straight forward but unique, I think you’ll like this.
I did find this dragged slightly in the middle - with some repetitive scenes and inner dialogue, but it’s not the end of the world. The main MMCs and FMC are unable to communicate, so there’s a language barrier (but this does not suffer from the dreaded miscommunication trope).
There’s an easy set up for Book 2, which I’m hoping focuses a bit more on the overarching lore and world building that took a back seat in the last 50% of this book.
