This is book 2 in The Wright’s series and it features Dylan and Emma. He’s a foreign correspondent in Syria. He’s coming home after tragedy struck and he lost a good friend. He’s home to find and give closure to the past. Eight years ago he and Emma were married. Four years ago she divorced him. Extreme circumstances made him push her away back then and extreme circumstances have brought him back. Will he be able to show her that he’s really back or has she lost faith in the man she used to love with all her heart?
The story line is fantastic as well as the characters. I loved that Dylan, Gypsy and Miranda mended their sibling relationship and left the past in the past. I liked how Marty immediately made Dylan feel comfortable with their relatable experiences. Marty is a great guy! Definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
