Possess Me! is the second book of the Spooky Boys series, now telling the story of a ghost and his human host. Aka Prudence and Luca.

(If you haven't read Bite Me!, the first book yet, I highly recommend jumping into that one first!)

We have two lost boys.
Luca is struggling to get by after a mistake turned his life upside down. He's trying to sell his last painting, but he ends upntrading it for a lucky necklace. But is it only a necklace?
Prudence is a ghost, recently freed from being the puppet of an evil person. He just wants to finally be free of this trapped existence. And when his talisman gets into Luca's hands, he might just have the perfect opportunity.

Luca and Prudence's story is captivating and dark, and it sucks you in and makes you way too invested in the fate of two fictional characters.

I think I fell in love with this pair way before I even read the book based on all the teasers and art the author shared.
Luca is the sweetest, most kind-hearted person. Even though his darker past, he never ceases to be the light in his loved ones' eyes. He's a tad naive and way too trusting, and his obliviousness makes him endearing. Even for an angry ghost with an attitude problem. He's also very hard on himself and is convinced that if he makes a mistake, his family will hate him.
Prudence's only emotion seems to be anger at first. The rest is just apathy. But slowly, like a flower under the sun, he starts to open up in the presence of Luca. Pru's hurt and guilt hide a caring and protective personality. His possessiveness was funny when it first popped up because it surprised even him.

The story was interesting enough. I think this book was way more character and relationship driven than the actual plot. I would say the plot, the initial days, the roadtrip the whole journey together served as a tool to show how Luca and Pru grew closer together and get through their own personal issues with the help of each other.

There were so many beautifully written scenes in this book. So many sweet moments. A few heartwrenching moments I cried on (obviously). And some funny and uplifting moments that made me smile and genuinely happy!
And the spice? It was extra hot and very naughty.

Overall, Fae has written another amazing paranormal romance full of laughter, a few tears, and soooo much love! I highly recommend it!
