It's an easy light read if you enjoy thrillers. There are 2 time lines, but the main female character Sydney is only in the present day chapters. She is a bit clueless, really, and some of her decisions are questionable. Most of the book Sydney is looking for love. I  definitely didn't see the twist at the end of the book as I thought I had it all figured out.... er nope. All in all, it's a light entertaining read with several murders thrown in. Enjoyable and fun. Bought for an alternative February Valentines day read for a book club pick, but I ended up reading it in January. Great pick for an alternative Valentine read
