I'm not sure what I expected. I enjoyed it, I was shocked, relieved and just plain pissed off at moments.

This review will have spoilers, so beware. I feel like I can't talk about it without giving things away.

SpoilerLet's start with Hyden. I really effing liked this guy. At no point did I not trust him. Not once. Even when we found out that he was the 'Old Man' I knew he was going to have a perfectly good explanation for it. So why was I really upset that it ended with no brought out real feelings between him and Callie?? I know there was so much going on that they didn't really have that chance, but really, it could have been squeezed in somewhere.

There were so many twists and turns and I loved the action that was brought forward compared to the first. Callie grew on me, slowly, but in the end she turned out to be an incredibly brave girl.

SpoilerI am so happy that Callie found her father. I knew in my gut that he was alive and I'm even more happy that he wasn't on the bad side of things. Just wish it didn't take so long to find him.

My biggest reason for not giving this book more then 3 stars was the fact that I really didn't feel 'satisfied' with the ending. I really wanted to know more about what they are joining into. Is this really the end to the series? I was sure it was, and if it is I don't like all the questions I have been left with. I wanted to know how relationships really turned out, how everything may work out etc. I don't know.

I did really enjoy the book though. Just wish there was a biiiiit more.
