Cultish is a great “sociology starter pack” book that made larger sociological and anthropological theories as well as complex linguistic themes engaging and comprehensible. Montell writes in an accessible language that makes heavy and confusing topics (cults and fanaticism) engaging and somehow funny on occasion.
Will absolutely read more of her work!
