This was such a touching book. I found myself angry and frustrated at characters that as I read I grew to understand and care about as you learn their different journeys. It reminds you to always take a breath before you let angry feelings take over because most certainly you don't know the whole story. I especially loved reading this as a CIS straight woman. There were many characters that represented different identities on the Queer spectrum and I really loved getting to experience these different journeys. It was beautiful, heartfelt, infuriating and hopeful.
