The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

1.0

one of my least favourite books

absolutely hated how ness wrote in the character's
accent, it made it very frustrating

the book is absolutely massive but the pace is
incredibly slow. unnecessary amount of characters
being presumed dead, but then coming back.

the theme is there if you squint really hard. the
concept of "what it means to be a man" is explored
but it doesnt have a lasting impact

absolutely not gonna look into the rest of the series but
i liked the relationship between two main characters and their motivations
