Stick With Me is a laid back romance that keeps readers entertained with likable main characters and a compelling love story. The book follows Hannah as she navigates an unexpected breakup and quickly finds herself in a “fake” relationship with her best friend.
One of the book’s strengths is its characters—I found myself rooting for them throughout the story. Callan’s writing is engaging and makes for an easy, enjoyable read. However, the pacing felt rushed at times. Hannah moves on from her six-year relationship almost immediately, and when her ex-boyfriend resurfaces to stir up trouble, the conflict is resolved just as quickly. These rapid developments made certain moments feel less impactful than they could have been.
Despite these small issues, Stick With Me is an entertaining romance that delivers plenty of charm and enjoyable moments. If you’re looking for a quick read with characters worth cheering for, this book is worth picking up.
