Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

Finally had a chance to read this. I was very curious about this book because everyone's talking about it especially when Queen of Shadows came out. And wow, now I know why all the hype. It was really really good. I enjoyed it a lot.

I loved Celaena, 'cause she is awesome and bad ass but her girly side was still there, which is really cute. I loved Dorian and Chaol too, they take care of Celaena in their own little ways. Yes, Celaena is a strong woman, and smart too, but she still needs people to care and protect her from time to time, especially when she'd been through a lot. Nehemia was also easy to like, at first her "I'm a princess, I can do anything I want" shiz was annoying but, I eventually ignore it because she was nice and kind. No one's perfect so I guess it was okay.

I enjoyed the love triangle going on. I like both Dorian and Chaol so I still don't know who I'll ship with Celaena. Hmmm, choosing is hard.

Though I loved it, I only gave it four stars, simply because there's a lot going on. However, all in all it was a great book. Can't wait to read the next one.
