I liked it! I’m not a huge fan of thrillers, but I like whodunnits so I decided to read this. It kept me occupied enough till the end.
The main characters were very unlikable so it was extremely easy to root for Poppy. Maybe a bit too much that it felt forced at times….like they were just mean for the sake of being mean that it became almost unbelievable for teenager. I also had trouble knowing who was who at certain points cause they all sounded similar. The diary wasn’t really written like a diary, I think the author should have made it a flashback instead because that is not how teenagers write. These issues made it difficult to follow the story and drag for me.
Nonetheless it was pretty good, satisfying ending with a decent twist.
