The Night in Question by Liz Lawson, Kathleen Glasgow

3.0

The second book of the Agathas gives some new perspective to the friendship between the two girls, as they march into a new mystery that blends in with an old case. And even though the criminal case, both of them actually, were interesting and suspenseful, and reading about the girls as their relationship progressed was enjoyable, some parts were a bit rocky.

First of all, some things were left unsolved, like that guy who got angry in the first part of the book and wanted to explain his behavior, or any progress regarding Alice and the police intern. Also, the ending was too rushed and felt unsatisfying, leaving out a lot and wrapping up things too quickly and conveniently, like Iris and her mom. That is not to say I wouldn't read another adventure of the girls.
