The More of Less by Joshua Becker
3.0

This book was good - it had good ideas, good stories, and a good plan of action. It's great for people who are new to minimalism and for those who are already pretty minimal, it has some ideas about scheduling/busyness and other areas where minimalism can apply. The book does contain some biblical stories but not very many and he tells you why they are included in the beginning. What I really didn't like about the book was the last chapter - it was great until we got there. In the last chapter, the author encourages you to help others and not just pursue selfish desires. I get it and would totally agree that helping others is great but the way it is done just didn't hit me right. I think the last chapter would have been way better if it was just short stories or examples of people who found purpose in helping others. I really like Joshua Becker (the author) but would I recommend this book? Possibly but with hesitation due to that last chapter.
