I was very torn between watching the movie first because I heard it was a masterpiece, and reading the book first. Eventually I went with reading the book first. And boy did I make the right decision!! I loved every single thing about this book, the storyline, the astounding development of characters and their different shades, the choice of the words, the plot twists (even though they weren't major but still), and especially the rawness and rigidness of the events (the murders, schemes, interactions, etc)
I honestly can't wait to watch the movie
