The concept for this book and the description gave me high hopes for a fun summer read. I was disappointed. It wasn’t terrible, but the writing was flat. The humor wasn’t quite funny enough, the descriptive passages didn’t come alive for the most part. The last few chapters were much better than the rest of the book.
