Honor Girl: A Graphic Memoir by Maggie Thrash

5.0

5/5 stars. I have no idea why but so far my experience reading non-fiction graphic novels; Maus and now Honor Girl, have been WAY better than reading fictional graphic novels. For some reason there just seems to be something about non-fiction graphic novels that pulls me in and I can’t stop reading them. I read this in two sittings. It was amazing and heartbreaking and very, I don’t know, powerful might be the word. Powerful doesn’t seem like the right word though. It is beyond powerful.
