“But just remember that this fear of yours? It means you have something worth fighting for—something you care so greatly for that losing it is the worst thing you can imagine.”

I get Elide’s feelings towards Lorcan. But she is so mean, and I think she is forgetting that Lorcan didn’t know any other type of love. He didn’t grow up with loving parents. All he has ever known was toxic love, and at this point I think Elide needs to beg for forgiveness, not an apology. I just needed this to said!

To be honest, this book was so long. And while I understand why it was so long, it also felt so long to the point where it was enjoyable to read a book that long. Liked the series as a whole, but I have to take into consideration that Aelin annoyed the hell out of me the last two books. I understood most of where she came from, but she lied and deceived too much (along with the people she was allied with)!
