Lady Killer, Vol. 1 by Jamie S. Rich
5.0

Its been a while since I found a new series that had me this entranced. I am dying over how good the art is and I can't get enough of the 1960's hit-woman plot. Josie takes no shit and looks good doing it. I can't wait to read more of this and see how Josie progresses in her life as housewife turned hit-woman (or is it the other way around?).
This series has often been likened to Mad Men (mostly because of the classic, stylish 1960's set up) and its hard to disagree. But it is also perfect for fans of thrillers and high paced action.
I also love the introduction by Chelsea Cain where she says "...maybe the reason we all picture serial killers as schlubby, middle aged white guys is because they are the ones who get caught." That made me laugh, but what a good way to introduce this series!
