Filled to the brim with epic fantasy elements, heavy military themes, battles both epic and singular. Nasty brutal magic systems, some political intrigue and even a friendly Bard!
The world building was very well done, and Colin even included a glossary which was greatly appreciated. The characters had depth and complexity and they really helped bring this world to life.
It's dark, it's gritty, it's everything you'd want if you're searching for your next grimdark epic military fantasy. Be ready for some twists and turns, some gut punches and even some laughs.
