This book follows Sloane, she works in a research facility and she turns out to be missing except when her sister Sage goes to Sloaneโs boss about her lack of communication and she finds out that Sloane sent in an email resigning from her job. There was only one problem, Sloane didnโt send any email and she loved her job. Her sister informs her boyfriend of her sister missing and he along with Max work on finding and rescuing her.
This is book five but I did not feel like I missed anything by skipping the first four, however this book was so good I do want to go back and read those. Iโm a first time reader of Isabel and let me tell you, I donโt regret a single moment. This book kept me on my toes, I was trying to guess who the bad guy was at almost every turn and lord knows how I love books that keep me guessing. I loved Max, when he was first introduced you would think that heโs a grumpy individual but he turns out to be such a cutie who just happened to be hurt in his past relationship. I need the next book already and you should definitely give this book a try.
