Falling Together by Marisa de los Santos

5.0

I think the reason Falling Together struck me so strongly is there are poignant moments of discovery in what love is supposed to be, what it should be - at it's greatest moments - but mainly, this novel shows what it means to love someone enough to hold onto them, even after you feel they're lost to you.

Not a "romance" novel by any means (that is, there is an obvious lack of Fabio and chiseled chests), Falling Together presents readers with a memorable love story. Even disregarding the romantic aspects, there is a love residing between the characters in the story that makes you want to reach out and hold on to it, in a belief that you can and have felt a friendship as strong or meaningful.
