It might not be for everyone, but I definitely loved it, although there were a couple of things I was waiting on like her favor owed to the dragon that didn't show up in the book and more time with Zale's monster. 7 people is a lot to juggle and still be good, so that was pulled off pretty well, in my opinion. Azul, Nathair, Connell, lycus, Osis, Zale, and Reve all worshipped her which was a nice change from my typical books where the men are OTT possessive and dominating to a female who's weak and submissive depending on her man/men for everything while not being able to help herself. Althea was powerful to the point it felt easy after the judges killed her and she came back but at the same time I enjoyed that too. There was anticipation for some things but it didn't feel very angst filled which I needed given this is the longest book I've read in awhile.
