Wouldn't recommend if you're trying to quit smoking or drinking or if you recently quit either. So many scenes describing and including both. I quit smoking over a year ago and found it triggering for this.
I liked the swapping of perspective and the vast difference in how each character was perceiving certain scenarios, loved how unhinged Roach was but how 'normally' shed speak about odd things. Description in this were great, a few grosser surprises throughout but they added to the experience.  Wasn't mad on the ending tho but if it was adapted to a film I could see that same ending being a winner for audiences. Just felt like ' put it down already' in book format?
