This book gets all the things right about cyber crime and the emotional trauma associated with having a person's privacy infringed. It is refreshing to see emotions depicted in a way the reader could associate and empathize with, instead of the dramatic/over-the-top way that many authors tend to write. Despite being a novella, there was a lot of relevant information given, characters built, and atmosphere created adequately, which adds to the overall feel of the book. The work felt really personal and powerful as well.
On the same note, do not read if you are sensitive to the premise on which the novella is based on, because the writing and atmosphere do get dark, aided by the author's evocative prose.
