Meh - while this is among the literary classics, this will not be kept within my shelves - I am already not a fan of first person narratives, and then to be in the mind of a person who has no idea who people are and why he does what he does - he comes off as an unbelievable hero - and I am not too fond of anyone in the family nor the world no the narrative in and of itself - thankfully this story is short enough that I only had to suffer 24 hours before i could put it down and move on - for those that love this, good on you and those who might be interested, don't stand by what I say because many more seem to enjoy this novel and series - I am moving on to something else at this point though - I cannot invest in anymore of the Chronicles of Amber series
