Blood Moon is told from the point of view of Lucy, Solange and Nicholas, with the epilogue told from the point of view of Kieran. Also, before I begin, I thought that I would add that this is only the second time that I have read Blood Moon, so my review should be closer to a first impression than my reviews for the first four books.
Blood Moon is a fair bit darker than the first 4 books. Gone are the chapters about the vampire falling in love with the human and in their place are chapters full of action, emotions running high and decisions, with not all of them being good. I actually had a physical reaction to Blood Moon. My heart was pounding, I felt sick when I knew something wasn’t right (mostly because I’ve this book before), I pleaded with the characters (even thought I knew the outcome) and there was even a little crying, and it takes a lot for a book to make me cry.
Another thing that I like about Blood Moon is that, while the cover is still just as creepy and/or weird as the first four books, the title actually has to do with the book.
I give Blood Moon five stars because it made me laugh and cry and had me on the edge of my seat (well bed, actually).
