I didn't love this as much as Butcher & Blackbird, but it's still very fun and entertaining with a lot of cute moments. The plot was not as strong, and the serial killers aspect wasn't as prominent.
I listened to the audiobook, and I didn't love the singing part or the frequent laughing/chuckling. I know it's part of the story, but it was distracting to me (I may just not be cut out for listening to books being acted out instead of being read aloud, though). Although I had some issues, I enjoyed reading this overall.
I really like all of the characters in this series, and again, I am begging someone to make this series into a TV show. I'm looking forward to getting to know Rose and Fionn more in book 3!
