The Road Not Taken and Other Poems: (penguin Classics Deluxe Edition) by Robert Frost

4.0

Probably more of a 3.75. I highly recommend reading the introduction written by David Orr- the best introduction to any work I have probably ever read, through that’s a weird thing to commend.

Anyways, poems that I loved/have a lot of thoughts about:
- into my own
- a late walk
- flower gathering
- in neglect
- mowing
- mending wall
- the death of the hired man
- the mountain
- after apple picking
- the wood pile
- the road not taken (obviously)
- birches
- out, out

Poems I liked and found compelling:
- storm fear
- revelation
- home burial
- the black cottage
- a servant to servants
- the housekeeper
- a patch of old snow
- meeting and passing
- the hill wife
- the bonfire
- the exposed nest
