pjays 's review for:
The Unhoneymooners
by Christina Lauren
I was excited but also wary to read this one because I really disliked the last Christina Lauren book I read. But this one was awesome! I really loved the family dynamics, the way Olive's character develops, and the premise of the story. Christina Lauren are witty and romantic writers and that's only one of the things that makes their books so good. The only reason I gave this four out of five stars is because I had a hard time with Ethan's character being all over the place. I couldn't get a read on him throughout the story, but I did like him. I feel like there was still this unsolved mystery around why he acted so odd, despite the explanation of Dane, Ami, and Olive. I also really enjoyed the theme of being unlucky and thought it was written super well.
