Annie and the Wolves by Andromeda Romano-Lax
3.0
I’m still digesting how I feel about this book a bit. First off, there are tons of triggers - gun violence (school setting), rape/child molestation, trauma. It was definitely not what I was expecting when I picked this book up.
It took me a while to get through, some parts were a little slow moving for me and a bit confusing/hard to follow.
I was really interested in the Annie Oakley storyline - I think it took some getting used to to appreciate the fantasy/time travel aspects that were central to the historical fiction storyline.
