I stepped out of my comfort zone with this one as part of a traveling book annotation project with some friends. While this wasn’t necessarily my cup of tea, if you’re into HEAVY spice and BDSM, definitely pick this one up! It felt like there were high stakes until there… weren’t, and I was disappointed in the abrupt ending. Ultimately, I want more plot in the plot to smut ratio. There were page turning moments, and a lot of questions left for book 2, but overall this one wasn’t for me!
