3.0

This started off with forced character introductions and altered histories, but soon found its feet. The plot is predictable enough, if you know your X-lore, but what did impress me was the refreshing twist on the characters. Alternate universes have been done to death, but some how, everyone in the alternates ends up in the same role. Scott was notably different this time, not only in name, but in the fact that OMG he wasn't paired off with Jean/a Jean lookalike/another telepath. Storm was disappointingly fanserviced, but Logan, Rogue and Scott made up for that loss with their unique new positions. And really? Who gave Sam the reigns?
