What a bad ass 8 year old! This audiobook was as much painful and raw as it was celebratory and proud. Viola is such a powerhouse! It's amazing how resilient we are as humans. Especially unapologetically Black women. I cannot thank Mrs. Davis enough for having the courage and making the headspace to tell us her story. It's eye-opening to some, and validating to thousands!!! We need to hear it all, the sugar and the shit. Thank you!
