Bournville by Jonathan Coe

4.0

This book follows an English family in the Bournville area over 75 years (from VE Day to the Covid pandemic) through various personal and societal changes. A lovely look into some major events shaping British culture over the last century. I would have liked a family tree in the beginning since there were a ton of characters. Alternatively, it might have been nice to have fewer, more thoroughly explored, characters.
