The amount of pages dedicated to different phases of her life and career is very uneven. A good chunk of the narrative feels like stalling and filler. The later quarter of the book is about the Netflix reboot but it reads more like a short diary excerpt lacking much in humor and reflection. Maybe focusing entirely on "A Year in the Life" would've made for a more consistent narrative.
