A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park
4.0
I read this in one evening. It was a quick read, but still beautifully written. The transitions between narrators was so seamless and always kept me wanting to keep reading to find out what happened next… hence why I read it in one night.
Perfect for middle school-aged readers. There’s obvious violence, but it’s not descriptive or gory, and the story never revolves around it.
Great for an adult who wants a quick escape without committing to a longer or more arduous book.
