RUTTING HELL THIS WAS EXECUTED WELL. HOW?????
I seriously lived for the uncertainty of gal. Like when you caught on how much he manipated people, you gotta give him credit for how good he is at it. Ngl I love him, and Wen, our little trash panda with a rainbow umbrella. But also If I haven't read the last page, the end was such a plottwist, that I don't believe people would've just guessed. And one really must admire the way the plot kept going nonstop throughout the whole book, with with stakes becoming higher and higher along with Ettians certainly and loyalty towards Gal and the Umber empire.
Really well done, I just about lived everything about this. The only thing that bugged me was how a lot of the book was details and history between the empires, but I understand that they were necessary, but they did drag a little out if you ask me. It was a little heavy to take in that much information. But I mean...
