I will start this off with a strong caution that you shouldn’t read this if you aren’t in a good headspace to do so. Check the trigger warnings, they are exactly as you would expect for a story about a midwife in a concentration camp.
This book is utterly devastating. I cried multiple times reading it. As the author herself states, it is a hard story to read but an important one.
