Carrie by Stephen King

Carrie was King's first novel and it doesn't hold up as well as his third, The Shining. It's spoken to generations about high school bullying and it's got some good ideas, but ultimately the structure is prototypical and the outcome isn't telegraphed so much as explicitly stated from the start. I probably won't go back to this one.
