I read this knowing nothing, expecting a silly kids book. Needless to say, it was much harder hitting than I had anticipated.

I recommend it. It'll only take you a day to read, and you'll be left with that numb feeling you might get after a really good show ends. 

For kids, I think it could be a great baby's first foray into critical thinking or more psychological media.
